Fi3 Diversity Policy

Fi3 celebrates and respects diversity. Diversity refers to the human characteristics that distinguish one person from another. It includes ethnicity, race, culture, age, gender, sexual orientation, differing abilities, social perspectives, values and beliefs.

Fi3 recognizes that diversity strengthens our community. It is also sensitive to the fact that some groups face barriers to access equitable participation in the community. These barriers diminish our capacity as a vibrant, caring and contributing community.

Fi3 promotes respect, fairness, access and participation for all people who interact with the organization. Our company prohibits discrimination in accordance with federal and provincial legislation and codes.

1. the Universal Declaration of Human Rights;

2. the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms;

3. the Civil Code of Québec and the principles of social justice.

Fi3 affirms the right of everyone to live, participate and work in an environment free from discrimination and harassment. Fi3 recognizes that developing equity and access requires a commitment both in its internal operations and in its external relationships.

Our company is committed to ensuring that the members of its leadership, as well as the staff of the organization, reflect the broad diversity of the community by ensuring;

  • offering equal working conditions and compensation for equivalent work among its staff
  • that professional services to its customers respect diversity and is free from discrimination
  • that the organization encourages ongoing diversity training
  • that the organization regularly assesses itself against these objectives and learns about best practices to improve its performance.

Fi3 recognizes that it operates on an indigenous territory that is thousands of years old, a place where peoples have met and engaged in diplomacy, and where the Great Peace Treaty was signed. We thank the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk) nation for its hospitality on unceded territory.
